Cher's son Elijah Blue faced major blow amid conservatorship case

American singer-actress Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman faced a major blow after the court denied his divorce request from Marieangle King. Elijah filed for divorce from Marieangle in 2021 after eight years of marriage.

According to Page Six, the court documents revealed a judge in Los Angeles County refused his divorce request on Jan 11, 2024. The court denied Elijah’s request to dismiss the divorce due to a temporary support order in effect.

So, Cher’s son Elijah Blue faced a major blow due to the court’s rejection of the divorce dismissal.

This decision came just a few days before Elijah had to appear in court for a conservatorship case filed by his mother, Cher. Conservatorship refers to a legal status that the court gives a person to manage the financial affairs of another person. This illegal case often comes when a person fails to make sound decisions regarding their well-being and finances.

In the conservatorship case, Cher wants to become the sole conservator of Elijah’s property. In this regard, she wants to manage the financial affairs of Elijah. She claimed he is unable to manage his financial resources.

It came up when Eljah had to receive assets from his trust by the end of 2023. Cher stated that she immediately needed to protect his property from loss.

Cher also put aside her daughter-in-law Marieangle as a possible conservator. Marieangle’s relationship with Elijah deteriorated following drug addiction and mental health crises.

She stated in her filing that Elijah cannot properly care for himself or manage his financial resources. She claimed any funds distributed to Elijah would spent on drugs that would leave behind nothing.
