Angelina Jolie accused Brad Pitt of physical abuse in court battle

Famous American actress Angelina Jolie has accused her ex-husband Brad Pitt of physical abuse in a new court lawsuit. A legal team of Angelina has made these claims on behalf of the actress in court documents.

A recent lawsuit claims Brad’s history of physical abuse against Angelina began long before the family’s travel in September 2016 from France to Los Angeles.

This flight was the first occasion when Brad Pitt physically abused the children. Afterward, Angelina immediately filed for divorce and left him. But Angelina Jolie accused Brad Pitt of physically abusing her before the 2016 plane incident in the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, neither Brad nor his legal team have responded directly. However, an inside source close to Brad claimed Angelina tries to distract from legal losses by offering irrelevant or inaccurate information in court filings.

Angelina and Brad have been involved in several court battles since their separation. The most recent court case was related to Vineyard Chateau Miraval. Brad Pitt recently won this case against Jolie. He claimed Angelina sold her vineyard share to a Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler without his consent in 2021.

Hence, the recent allegations came shortly after Brad’s most recent win over the Chateau Miraval lawsuit. It was previously reported that Brad’s legal team attempted to sue Angelina. This was because she did not provide him the first refusal right as agreed in Chateau Miraval real estate.

Right of first refusal in real estate is a clause that gives a potential buyer the first opportunity to purchase a piece of property. On the other hand, Angelina claimed Brad stopped her from selling her vineyard share until she signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which she refused to do.

NDA legally binds parties or organizations to stop sharing information covered in the agreement. Brad allegedly proposed to Jolie an NDA that would stop her from speaking about any of his misdeeds. So, Angelina refused to sign the NDA, and a dispute started between them.
