Amitabh Bachan bought land parcel for Rs 10 crore in Alibaug

Bollywood Icon star Amitabh Bachan has bought a 10,000 square-foot piece of land parcel for Rs 10 crore in Alibaug, Maharashtra, near Mumbai. A land parcel is a particular piece of land with specific ownership, land use, or other characteristics.

Amitabh bought it from the House of Abhinandhan Lodha (HoABL). According to Indian media reports, Amitabh purchased a property in the 20-acre A Alibaug project introduced in April last year.

HoABL and Amitabh completed this deal the previous week. However, HoABL did not respond to the media about this deal. Amitabh Bachan intends to build a luxury Villa in Alibaug.

Apart from the Alibaug land parcel, Amitabh Bachan also bought a plot of land in Ayodhya from HoABL for their project, The Sarayu in the past. The Sarayu project is a planned seven-star mixed-use enclave in the temple town.

According to real estate industry sources, the Ayodha plot is a property where Amitabh plans to build his house said to be 10,000 square feet in size and is worth 14.5 Indian crore rupees.

However, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) looking for luxurious getaways and investment opportunities have recently favored Alibaug as a real estate destination.

It lies near Mumbai and has developed infrastructure and beautiful coastline surroundings. It has contributed to the current rise in demand for luxury real estate.

Actor Amitabh Bachan and his wife Jaya Bachan gave the first of the five family houses in Juhu, Pratiksha bungalow as a gift to their daughter Shweta Nanda in 2023. The couple bought their first Juhu bungalow, Pratiksha, soon after the popular 1075 film Sholay became a hit.

Junk, Vasta, and Ammu bungalows are among the properties Amitabh Bachan’s family owns in Juhu. Bachan family uses the Janak bungalow primarily as an office.

However, they partially rented two other bungalows, Vatsa and Ammu to Citibank and then State Bank of India in 2021. Amitabh Bachan is one of the highest-paid celebrities in India with a net worth of Rs 120.45 crore.
