Actress Sajal Aly to appear in Tollywood film "Fauji"

Pakistani actress Sajal Aly will reportedly appear in the Tollywood film “Fauji” opposite big Indian and Telugu star Prabhas. Sajal worked earlier with Sridevi in the 2017 Indian film “Mum” with late actress and Bollywood icon Sridevi.

According to media reports, the shooting for this upcoming film Fauji will held in Hyderabad on August 24, 2024. Fauji is reportedly a historical film.

There has not been an official statement on the lead actress, but there have been rumors that other actresses, including Mrunal Thakur, was also in the leading role.

Iman Esmail is a good dancer and choreographer from Delhi. She is about to make her Tollywood debut. She will add more excitement to filmmaking. Some Indian media reports claim she will play a leading role in Fauji.

However, the reports regarding actress Sajal Aly that she will appear in the Tollywood film Fauji come after recent speculations around Fawad Khan’s potential comeback to Bollywood.

Fawad Khan is a renowned Pakistani actor. He earned massive public attention in India by working in the Bollywood films Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016).

Sajal Aly’s presence in the Fauji film is partially guaranteed based on sources’ claims near this film project. Although neither Sajal nor the film producers have officially confirmed it.

Fauji is believed to be an action-packed drama with a hint of romance. It will show historical events that happened in the pre-independence era.

Hanu Raghavpudi will direct this film while Prabhas who recently cherished the success of the blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD will unveil his acting skills in this new project.

Fauji is reportedly a patriotic film that focuses on the story of the Indian military. Hanu Raghavapudi and producers (Mythri Movie Makers) launched the Fauji in Hyderabad on August 17, 2024. Prashanth Neel and Prabhas were also present at the launch ceremony.
