Actors Sacha Baron and Isla Fisher filed for divorce

Actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have filed for divorce after remaining together for two decades. The celebrities announced their divorce news on social media. They stated they filed for divorce jointly last year.

Both actors shared their picture of themselves sporting tennis whites on their Instagram story with a similar caption. It stated they are finally putting their racquets down after a long tennis match lasting over 20 years.

The post further stated they have always prioritized their privacy. They have been quietly working through this change. Their commitment to their kids will always be shared. They appreciate sincerely respect the privacy of their family.

Actors Sacha Baron and Isla Fisher filed for divorce after getting married in 2010. They shared three children. They first met in 2001 and became engaged in 2004.

Sacha Baron Cohen is a UK-hailed actor who became popular for his character Ali G in the comedy-drama Ali G Indahouse (2002). He also gained prominence for his portrayals of Austrian designer Bruno (2009) and Kazakh journalist Borat in the film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006).

However, Isla Fisher is an Australian actress and writer. She starred in the long-running Australian soap opera Home and Away before working on the big screen.

Fisher also starred in the famous films Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009) and Wedding Crashers (2005). In addition, a number of her children’s novels have been released.

On the other hand, a disagreement arose between the Australian actress Rebel Wilson and Sacha Baron before the publication of Wilson’s memoir “Rebel Rising” last month. Rebel made allegations against Sacha Baron in her memoir.

Rebel claimed she felt humiliated and sexually harassed in some situations while working on sets of the film Grimsby (2016) with Sacha. Isla Fisher also worked in this film.

However, Sacha Baron has strongly denied any improper behavior with actress Rebel and called her allegations false.
