The civil fraud trial of Trump will begin on Monday, Oct 9, 2023. Former American President Donald Trump and his family members will face a civil trial in New York court. All this is happening because of Judge Arthur Engoron. He ruled that Trump committed fraud when he was building his real estate empire. Engoron passed this verdict on September 26.

The Attorney General of New York, Letitia James brought this lawsuit to Judge Arthur. James also claims that Trump is also involved in six other frauds. Donald Trump claims to be appearing in New York’s court on Monday.

Trump reacted aggressively on his Truth Social Platform saying, “THIS WHOLE CASE IS SHAM!!!” Trump wrote. “See you in Court – Monday morning.” NBC New York reported it.

The accusation of fraud is not only on Trump. His both sons, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump are also accused of fraudulent dealings in business. There are serious allegations on them that they grew their financial assets through illegal practices. Like, they lied to insurers, lenders, and tax collectors.

An example of their fraud is the Mar-a-Lago resort of Trump in Florida. According to the court’s findings, it was overvalued by as much as 2,300 percent.
