Harbhajan Singh slammed Babar Azam's fan for spreading fake story

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh slammed Babar Azam’s fan for spreading a fake story about Irfan Pathan. A fan claimed that Babar refused to speak with Irfan Pathan in an interview during the 2023 ODI World Cup.

Following this, Harbhajan expressed disappointment and displeasure at the comments used by Pakistani supporters. He addressed Babar’s fan and asked him where Irfan Pathan was in this video.

He also said bolne ki tameez to aap logo ko pehle hi nahi this (you people already did not have the manners to speak). Ab ankhon see dikhna bi bandh ho gya kya? (Have you lost your eyesight now?)

Harbhajan also stated Waise bi agar angreji mai swal pooch liya to pange pad jayenge (Anyways! if you ask a question in English, you will get into trouble).

This backlash came when Babar’s fan shared a clip of the 2023 ODI World Cup clip and wrote When Iran Pathan begs Babar Azam for an interview and he refused. He also shared encouraging and sarcastic emojis to endorse his claim.

Harbhajan Singh found it derogatory and so he slammed Babar Azam’s fan. The controversial clip dates back to October last year when Pakistan traveled to India for an ODI World Cup in 2023. Pakistan Cricket Team visited Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata for two matches.

The match series began between India and Pakistan on October 14, 2023, at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Pakistan could only win four matches and failed to reach the semi-finals.

Pakistan Cricket Team won against Netherlands and Sri Lanka in the first two matches. But later, they could not manage a winning trend and lost consecutively. They lost to India, Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa one by another.

This loss caused great changes in the Pakistan Cricket Team with Babar leaving his captaincy. Shaheen Afridi replaced him in T20Is as captainship and Shan Masood replaced him in Test captaincy.
