FIR filed against students involved in sexual activity at Okara University

Okara University registrar has filed an FIR against its male and female students after their drone video revealing sexual activity went viral. This legal action from the university administration came after a drone video showed accused students conducting immoral activities on the University’s rooftop.

As soon as this video went viral, it started controversy among the public and raised questions about the integrity of educational institutes over such inevitable cases.

Following these concerns, the administration of Okara University responded quickly by taking legal action against the accused students. It claimed that the accused male and female students caused damage to the reputation of the university.

University administrator also stated in FIR that a viral video showed several students participating in an immoral activity on the university’s rooftop. It identified and specifically mentioned Ali Raza, a BS Zoology Student, and the drone camera operators, Ali Shan and Somiyah among several unidentified students.

They are accused of breaking into university property without permission, filming an explicit video with a drone, and then sharing the footage on social media.

Deputy Registrar of Okara University, Waqar Ahmad filed this FIR against accused students. He expressed concern that this incident had damaged the university’s reputation.

According to Waqar, this unimagined happening at the university created uneasiness among students and the community on a large scale. Hence, he demands authorities take offenders in their custody to restore the honor of Okara University.

Moreover, the University administration has implemented strict disciplinary measures in reaction to the inappropriate incident. It suspended public relations Officers and a security officer. It also terminated their two daily wages.

Waqar Ahmad also confirmed they have initiated initial inquiries under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). It involves introspected interviews with university officials and staff about the incident.
