Mob attacked Raveena Tandon after accusing being drunk & rashly driving

A mob attacked Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon & her driver after accusing them of being drunk and hitting & injuring women in Bandra Mumbai. This incident happened outside the home of Raveena on June 2, 2024 night.


It all came up when Raveena’s driver was reversing the car from the road into society. Meanwhile, a women’s group was crossing the same lane. They stopped the driver to check if people were behind the car as he might have hit someone. It soon started to turn into a heated argument between them.

Following this, Raveena stepped out of her home to help the driver. The relatives of women had also gathered at that time. They alleged that the driver hit one of the women while one of them claimed she suffered a nosebleed.


Raveena tried to calm the angered women, but they pushed her around. She appeared to say mob; “Please, don’t hit me.” The mob also started abusing her when she was trying to protect her driver. This video of a mob attacking Raveena Tandon has gone viral on social media.


Following this mob attack, Raveena and the opponent party submitted complaints to Khar Police Station, Mumbai. The accuser women group alleged Raveena and her driver were in drunk condition in an FIR complaint to Mumbai police. They also accused them of hitting and injuring a member of the complainant’s family.


However, the actress shared posts on her Instagram stories in her defense that she was not drunk. Her car did not hit anybody. She only came outside of her home to protect her driver.

However, a thorough police investigation and viral CCTV footage of this alleged incident showed that Raveena’s car did not hit or injure any members of the family of the complainant. Hence, they can not prosecute Raveena or her driver.


Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajtilak Roshan told Indian media that this alleged incident was false. Neither the actress nor the driver was drunk. They checked the CCTV footage of society, which showed the actress’s car did not hit anybody.


Finally, the actress and accuser’s family submitted letters to Mumbai police to withdraw their complaints. They claimed they did not want to register any complaints.
