Matric Part I physics paper leaked online in Karachi
The physics paper for Part I Matric was leaked online just forty minutes before it was supposed to begin in Karachi. There was also a solved examination physics paper for the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BESK) in WhatsApp groups.
Several paper irregularities related to the matric board have been happening since the exams started on May 7, 2024. Leaked papers before exams have become an extreme issue in Karachi.
Department of Sindh Boards and Univeristies has instructed the chairman of BSEK to address the malpractice of leaked papers. Apart from the physics paper, the Matric Part I computer science paper leaked on the inaugural day of exams on May 7, 2024.
Meanwhile, a BSEK spokesperson said they couldn’t verify the authenticity of the leaked computer science paper, which went viral on social media. Part I and Part II Matric exams of BSEK began on May 7, 2024.
Anonymous source also leaked rhe Matric Part II English paper online yesterday. It also went viral on WhatsApp and other social media on May 10, 2024. However, the chairman of BSEK warned students not to bring cell phones to examination centers while threatening to seize them if they did.
He appeared to take strict actions to avoid any exam conduct violations in the BSEK Matric exams. Despite strict orders from the BSEK chairman, serious violations and malpractices have happened for Matric exams.

BSEK has scheduled the Science group for the morning shift, while general group exams are for the evening shift. Moreover, BSEK has also released online admit cards for examination centers this year as part of the new development. Hence, the students can find their examination centers on their admit cards.
Several examination centers became overcrowded with students and went beyond their capacity. Hence, students had to take exams while sitting on the examination center’s grounds.
The leaked Matric papers for BSEK have raised serious concerns about the transparency and integrity of board administration.
